We have implemented and conducted pilot tests of the proprietary battery cooling system with one of the largest producers of electric buses – Solaris Bus & Coach, our partner in the IndustryLab2 acceleration program.
Our innovative solution involves the use of cooling plates made of thermally conductive and electrically insulating polymer composites. Usually, exchangers made of metal are used for these purposes, which often require at least machining and the use of additional expensive insulation materials. Thanks to our solution, it is possible to provide weight savings and safety (electrical insulation) while maintaining efficient cooling. In addition, our technology allows the use of serial production methods (e.g. injection molding), which makes it particularly attractive in terms of cost-effectiveness for larger production volumes.
The technology is ready to be produced for future battery models.
